This is true. I get done up at home on days when I know I won’t be going out or (god forbid) taking another picture of myself to post online. I don’t wear makeup for other people, I wear it for myself. I go to work, sit at a desk, and get a lot of stuff done. I don’t think my work place cares if I put on lip stick that day or not, nor should they. It’s up to my mood whether I choose to put on electric blue shadow or an obnoxious pink shade of lipstick. I’ve always loved make up and experimented with it; I’ve worked in cosmetics before. I don’t need a guy’s approval, either. I think it’s sad that girls can change their style altogether for a man. Even if it does gross out a guy that I may wear too much lip gloss that day, oh well-I guess I’ll just kiss the mirror today.
